Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter and mixer John Nathaniel is well known for his blend of acoustic and electronic elements, combining live strings, movie-like arrangements and percussions in contemporary productions. 

John recently worked on David Guetta featuring OneRepublic’s latest singles. He also co-produced and mixed Platinum-certified Top Gun: Maverick’s soundtrack song “I Ain’t Worried” by OneRepublic, which has more than 1.8 billion streams on Spotify. John also worked on multiple titles from OneRepublic’s two latest albums “Human” and "Artificial Paradise", that topped the digital sales charts in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and France, amongst others.

Additionally, John mixed Josh Ross and Julia Michaels single "Want This Beer", as well as Ross's latest single "Movin On".​ He is also behind the creative direction, co-writing, production and mix of Alex Sampson's retro modern songs "Pretty Baby" and "If You Were My Girl", which were performed at America's Got Talent 2024.

Furthermore, John produced the songs “Top Of The World” and “Carried Away” by Shawn Mendes, featured in the movie “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile”.​ He also worked on Kygo's Gold-certified single "Lose Somebody" and mixed two Gwen Stefani’s songs appearing on her “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” deluxe album. Additionally, he co-produced and mixed  “Room For You” by Madison Beer and mixed Switchfoot's singles "Native Tongue" and "Voices" from their “Native Tongue” album, which won Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year at the 50th GMA Dove Awards.

John received 8 SOCAN Awards for his #1 songs on the Top 100 radio charts, co-writing, producing and mixing all of them. He was also awarded the prestigious 2017 “SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Award”.

 

He was recently honoured in Jaxsta’s Top Producers of 2022 list, reaching number 31 on their World’s 100 most successful producers of the year selection, as well as in Jaxsta's Top Mixer of 2022, reaching number 27. In 2024, John also was honoured with a Muso.AI commemorative plaque celebrating over 6 billion streams on digital platforms.
